Cafe Luigi Coffee (Shibuya)

As we were exploring the small inner area of Shibuya; we came across Café Luigi, and we loved it. Our Double Espresso Latte was seriously good, earning it the #3 spot on our coffee list. It’s pricier than other places for the same size drink, but it’s strong, smooth, and perfect for a coffee fiend. Plus, the café itself has a stylish vibe and high-quality coffee.

British Pub Shinjuku

We had to experience a Japanese pub! After striking out in the too-busy drinking alleys, we found this British pub that led us downstairs path. It was lively, a soccer game was on, and we had a few beers. Standing and soaking in the atmosphere, surrounded by people from all over, was a blast. It’s a friendly, vibrant spot perfect for a relaxed pint after a busy day.

Uogashi Nihon-Ichi Shibuya Dogenzaka

We had an incredible experience at Uogashi Nihon-Ichi Shibuya Dogenzaka, a standing sushi bar right in Shibuya. We were getting hungry and saw their amazing store design and had to give it a try. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy incredibly fresh, high-quality sushi prepared right before your eyes, offering an authentic and delicious quick bite.

SYNdicate Cafe

We were heading to Harajuku on foot and saw SYNdicate Cafe. We had to stop and try it out as they were quite busy. We loved its modern minimalist design and the calm atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for a refreshing break from exploring. We ordered an iced coffee and was delicious with their strong coffee aroma.

Tare-Katsu

We made sure to go to Tare-Katsu (we visited one of their many locations). We went to Tare-Katsu in Osaka and realized they had other locations and had to go again. Their crispy, perfectly fried cutlets are drizzled with a delicious, savory-sweet tare sauce, offering a satisfying and incredibly flavorful meal. Colin had their curry and was the best curry he has ever had.

Yebisu Garden Place (Yebisu Brewery Tokyo)

We absolutely loved visiting Yebisu Garden Place, especially heading straight to the Yebisu Brewery! It was fascinating to learn how Yebisu Beer is made and to delve into its rich history. The entire complex with their architecture and various shops and restaurants, made for a wonderful experience. We highly recommend visiting if you appreciate good beer in Tokyo and want to explore its heritage.

Sarutahiko Coffee atré Ebisu Westside Store

Located within Ebisu’s Atré complex, Sarutahiko Coffee immediately caught our eye with its appealing light blue branding. While plenty of seating was available, we treated it as a quick pit stop to fuel our day. We really enjoyed the coffee, and their cleverly designed, spill-proof lids were a thoughtful touch that we absolutely loved.

Conclusion:

We absolutely loved exploring Shibuya and Shinjuku; the food scene there was truly unforgettable! Even now, we’re still craving that delicious Tare-Katsu and the incredibly fresh sushi. We highly recommend giving these spots a try – and be sure to follow us for more delicious recommendations!
