Uniqlo Coffee (Ginza)

On the 12th floor of Uniqlo Ginza, you’ll find Uniqlo Coffee â€“ a perfect break spot during your shopping spree. They offer a limited but high-quality selection. For the price and taste, it was our #2 favorite coffee! It tasted so good, we barely needed to say anything. Warning: they take “hot coffee” seriously! It was piping hot, and we couldn’t leave the floor until we finished it as the hotness was going through the cup. Ideal for recharging before tackling all 12 floors of shopping on the way down! We had too much clothing at Uniqlo, we weren’t able to take a photo of the coffee.

Bongen Coffee (Ginza)

After a long day of walking, we needed something cold, and Bongen Coffee in Ginza delivered. This small shop is beautiful, with meticulously brewed coffee and elegant decor. Our Iced Coffee Matcha Latte was delicately crafted and perfectly brewed. The calm, refined atmosphere is excellent for a quiet break. This perfectly blended matcha earned it the #3 spot on our list.

Caffe Veloce Ginza Miyuki-Dori

Caffe Veloce on Ginza Miyuki-Dori is a convenient, cozy spot for coffee lovers in Tokyo. Known for its fast service and comfy seating, it’s great for a quick coffee or a relaxing break. They have various coffees, teas, and snacks – perfect for a pit stop during your Ginza shopping spree. It was conveneient for us as we needed a break, but to give it a try is average for the cost.

Hoshino Coffee

In Ginza, we just had to stop at Hoshino Coffee for their famous fluffy soufflé pancakes. It was Julian’s birthday, so we went all out! Their Christmas edition pancakes were fluffy, but quite sweet. It was not as bouncy as we thought. The cafe has a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to unwind. A must-visit for coffee and dessert lovers in Tokyo.

Ginza Sand (銀座サンド)

We spotted this place online as a must-try while exploring the Ginza area, and thought, “Why not?” Upon ordering, we faced about a 30-minute wait, and can see multiple people patiently standing by. Once we finally got our order, we eagerly dove in while it was still hot. Honestly, we felt it could have been better; the bread-to-filling ratio was too high, and the pork cutlet itself was unfortunately too dry for our liking.

Super Dry Hall

We decided to go to Super Dry Hall to try their 0C beer and as well look at their merchandise to buy as gifts. We were surprised that they had a Limited Menu Experience while we were in Japan. We went into watching a show and then served the Super Dry Extra Cold and some popcorn. We enjoyed the experience and would do it again.

Bonheur Boulangerie

Located in Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, we charmingly stumbled upon Aux Delices de Dodine, immediately drawn in by their display of delicious French cuisine. We decided to try a few items, opting for their melon bread and a cheese stick. We found the melon bread to be just okay, as it unfortunately lacked the distinct melon flavor we’ve come to expect from other bakeries.

Aux Delices de Dodine

Seeking refuge from the sun, we popped into Tokyo Midtown Yaesu and found ourselves drawn to the surprisingly long line at Bonheur Boulangerie. Deciding to give it a shot, we joined the queue and ordered their 3-course weekend meal, which included cauliflower soup, roasted pork loin, and bread. We were so glad we waited! The pork loin was incredibly delicious and tender, and the cauliflower soup was so delightful that it left us craving more.

Saza Coffee

While exploring KITTE Marunouchi, we spotted Saza Coffee’s inviting, bright sign and decided to give it a try. We ordered an Iced Coffee Latte and their SL Millie Crepe Cake. We enjoyed watching them prepare our drinks and savored both items in their cozy cafe. We’d definitely return to try more of their delicious drinks and crepe cakes!

Conclusion

Ginza was an incredible journey ended on a high note, leaving us craving more from Tare-Katsu and felt an amazing culture vibe of sipping coffee at Saza Coffee. Each moment solidified our love for Tokyo’s blend of tradition, innovation, and endless discovery.
