Mr. T Family Cafe
An hour outside Seattle, craving a good meal of fried chicken and gravy, we landed at Mr. T Family Cafe. Based on reviews, we’re so glad we did! This spot offered a wonderfully cozy and inviting experience. The hash brown was a bit too buttery and not enough crispy crunch to it. We absolutely loved their country gravy, and the meal was incredibly generous in portion. We wanted to devour it all, but decided to savor the taste and take some of our order to go for later.
Fulcrum Cafe
At Fulcrum Cafe, we discovered a great spot to grab an excellent cup of coffee. The interior was beautiful, with wonderfully designed merchandise on display. We enjoyed two delicious and satisfying drinks: an Iced Matcha Latte and an Siganture Special Drink called Purple Rain. It is an Purple Ube with Matcha and caramelized honey and oat milk. We loved how they had great design and lighting here.
Pike Place Chowder
We had ordered the clam chowder and seafood chowder. We went to them in Pacific Place and during happy hour. We did not like the bread. It was too sour for our liking even for a sourdough. The small size is like a snack size if anything. The seafood chowder had decent bite size salmon and white chowder was a bit too runny.
Castilla Restaurant and Tapas Bar Bellevue
Castilla Restaurant and Tapas Bar Bellevue transported us straight to Spain with its vibrant atmosphere and delicious small plates. IWe went to the one at Bellevue as after our meal we could go for a stroll at Bellevue Square. It’s a fantastic spot to share a variety of flavorful tapas. We ordered multiple dishes from shared Mussels and more.
Anchorhead Coffee
For a strong and satisfying coffee fix, Anchorhead Coffee delivered. Their bold brews are perfect for getting that energy boost you need to explore Seattle. We saw a couple tables have their waffles but we were too full to give it a shot. We got an iced blueberry match latte to try which was refreshing.
Ben Paris
We had booked reservations and it was a smooth experience. Ben Paris design was impressive and we enjoyed that each table had a lavender centerpiece. The food was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, offering a great dining experience in a stylish setting. The only thing, we did not enjoy was the washroom we had to take an elevator down and find our way to the washroom.
Duke’s Seafood Bellevue
I brought Colin to Duke’s Seafood Bellevue for his birthday. We had everything from fish and chips to their clam chowder. The clam chowder is what we got hooked and is a place we go back everytime we are in Seattle. They offer birthday specials and rewards and coupon for particular dishes and events. They have fresh, high-quality seafood.
Hood Famous Cafe & Bar
Hood Famous Cafe & Bar was a unique find, offering delightful Filipino-inspired pastries and coffee. We tried their iced pandan latte and ube latte. We felt like trying their treat of their ube cupcake. Unfortunately, the cupcake was to dry for our liking and too sweet. We have seen others have the swirl roll which might taste better. The only downside was when we went to pay they did not accept cash.
Conclusion:
Seattle was amazing and all the food list above made us want to go back to Seattle. We hope you enjoy this list and give it a a try.
