St. Lawrence Market
Highly recommended to visit as it was quite enjoying for us to roam around the market and we decided to try 2 food locations. We loved our delicious, customizable smoked salmon bagel with Garlic & Herb Cream Cheese from St. Urbain Bagel Bakery and tried the famous peameal bacon sandwich from Carousel Bakery, but found it too dry for our liking.
Katsuya Toronto
We had a fantastic meal at Katsuya Toronto, enjoying both the great company and their delicious food. The highlight was the perfectly melted cheese on their dishes, which was simply incredible. For the price, we wished we had more protein as it still left us wanting more.
Pie Bar
Pie Bar is a cozy Italian spot offering both pizza and pasta. While we enjoyed the “GODFATHER” pizza, the GIGLI DI TARTUFO pasta truly stole the show with its amazing flavor and texture. We loved both equally and would highly recommend giving it a try. The pasta, we felt could have been more saucy, but overall the flavor was delicious.
Hexx Burrito Gourmet Truck
We grabbed a burrito from the Hexx Burrito Gourmet Truck, which was a fantastic and convenient option. We were strolling and saw many people eating the food truck. We decided to try it out. Their generous portions and fresh ingredients make for a satisfying meal on the go.
Dineen Coffee
Dineen Coffee had a beautiful lighting with a classic, sophisticated ambiance. It’s a great spot to enjoy a quality cup of coffee in a charming setting. We got a black coffee to go to start our day. The staff were excellent and made sure we had what we needed.
Sunset Grill
When we came to Sunset Grill, it was nearby our hotel. It offers a straightforward menu with all your breakfast favorites, but unfortunately for us we found the food being too mediocre and dry for our liking. Their was not enough seasoning and it didn’t wow us for a morning breakfast.
Evviva Breakfast and Lunch
We absolutely loved the vibe at Evviva Breakfast and Lunch, a great place for a morning meal. Unfortunately, our photo of the interior was too blurry, but trust us the vibe was beautiful. The restaurant has a lively and modern atmosphere that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. We ordered the all day breakfast of egg and sausage. It was a perfect amount of swet and savory.
YoTea Canada
On our way back home to our hotel, we decided to stop by YoTea Canada for a refreshing drink as we had another 30min walk ahead of us. We were surprised with their great daily deals for their drinks that start at $2.99. We loved their neon sign and the great customer services.
Scream Ice Cream
Scream Ice Cream absolutely is designed well with their teal exterior color that can be easily seen across the street. Inside the store, offers a variety of creative flavors. It’s a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth with a unique scoop.
Eggspectation
When we went to Eggspectation, we did not know that we also had a location in Richmond, BC. We give Eggspectation a try in the Bay area. There was a massive menu filled with breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes. We were way too hungry and ate before we took a photo. Sometimes, we eat before the camera eats!
Sorry Coffee Co – Closed
Sorry Coffee Co is a minimalist cafe hidden inside a corner boutique. We had ordered a Coffee Latte and Matcha Latte and it was delicious. Both drinks were foamed and hot to warm us up. t’s a great little spot for a stylish coffee break. Additionally, we just love the neon cup lid and simple company name.
Petit Dejeuner by LPD Café
Petit Dejeuner by LPD Café is a charming and cozy cafe perfect for a classic breakfast. They serve delicious and hearty meals that are great to start your day with.
Conclusion:
Toronto was amazing for our first trip! We would highly recommend giving our list a try and to see for yourself. From our list definitely give a try at St. Lawrence Market and customize your own bagel to your liking.
