Tokyu Kabukicho Tower
The Tokyu Kabukicho Tower is an impressive new landmark in Shinjuku’s bustling Kabukicho district. Within Tokyo Kabukicho Tower, offers a variety of attractions including a hotel, cinema, theater, and dining options and neon entertainment near the top floor.
Times Square (Shinjuku)
Times Square in Shinjuku is a massive commercial complex, offering all the usual well-known stores. What truly makes it a beautiful sight, however, are its stunning glass windows that provide expansive views of the city.
Isetan Shinjuku
Isetan Shinjuku is a fantastic stop and a true icon among Japan’s luxury department stores. While they have multiple locations, the Shinjuku branch offers an exquisite shopping experience. Beyond the high-end retail, we loved finding a serene area with lush greenery, providing a beautiful space to appreciate nature within Isetan.
Tokyo Mystery Circus
Tokyo Mystery Circus provided an incredibly fun and immersive experience with its real-life escape games and puzzle-solving attractions. It’s a fantastic spot for friends or family looking for an engaging challenge and a unique way to spend an afternoon or evening. While there was also an option to pay for viewing entertainment, we ultimately decided to continue.
Conclusion
Despite difficulty finding things to do in Shinjuku based on online reviews, after some deeper digging, we were thrilled to discover a different side of the district! The Tokyu Kabukicho Tower offered a new dimension of entertainment, while Times Square provided extensive shopping. For a unique twist, Tokyo Mystery Circus delivered thrilling, immersive puzzle-solving, making our Shinjuku truly wonderful.
