Osteria Savio Volpe:

We went to Osteria Savio Volpe as a date place and wanted to try a new restaurant. We have to say this place is delicious and focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients prepared in simple, flavorful ways. We had ordered 3 things Pappardelle, milk braised pork ragù,Northern Gold’ N.Y. striploin, and the German butter potatoes with smoked prosciutto. All the dishes were flavorful and kept making us want more. The portion in our opinion was too small.

The Victor:

We went to The Victor after Colin proposed for dinner and it was delicious and tender of steak. We loved the bread so much we had to ask for seconds. Additionally the side of yam fries was nice a soft and sweet. The place is beautiful and elegant in design.

The Greek Yaletown:

Julian loves greek food and the flavors and herbs. The Greek Yaletown has an amazing modern vibe with their lights in Yaletown. We had ordered a Lamb Platter to share and a side of calamari with tzakiki. The food was delicious and the tzakiki was delicious and homemade.

Hawksworth:

Hawksworth is one of Vancouver’s premier fine-dining restaurants, located in the iconic Rosewood Hotel Georgia. We went here during our anniversary that had a 4 course meal that was offered. The appetizer was delicious and the steak was tender. Hawksworth is considered fine dining, so the overall dishes did not make us overly full.

Seaside Provisions:

Located in North Vancouver, Seaside Provisions is a sophisticated yet relaxed spot. We went during happy hour and we had a big craving for oysters. They had buck a shuck here so we decided to go all out and get 54 pieces worth! We also decided to try the lobster and prawn roll which was delicious, but we actually enjoy the side salad more than the lobster and prawn roll.

Hydra Estiatorio:

The love for greek? This is a must to place to go Hydra Estiatorio. Its elegant dining room and menu of expertly grilled dishes and fresh ingredients make it a destination for a more refined taste of Greece. We had went during happy hour and ordered 3 things, Oysters, Fried Calamari and some champagne. Located in downtown, we highly recommend giving it a try.

Conclusion:

These restaurants highlight the city’s status as a true food lover’s paradise with a taste for every occasion. This is a small list that we can expand and add on. If you like these restaurants, let us know!
