Harbour View Park Observatory

A 12min skytrain from Yokohama Station. We made sure to visit Harbour View Park Observatory, and it offered truly breathtaking panoramic views of Yokohama Bay. It was quite a journey for us, as we decided to walk and we were able to see many local stores. We enjoyed the stroll toward the Harbour View Park Observatory.

Harbor View Park Sunken Flower Bed

After the observatory, there is another park area where there are tons of flowers and water fountain, which was beautiful to see. We highly recommend going through as a stroll and embrace the sun and flowers.

Yokohama Chinatown District

We absolutely loved exploring Yokohama Chinatown District, a dazzling explosion of colors. As you can see in the photos, the streets are vibrant and bright making it a beautiful sight to see. Its streets are packed with endless restaurants offering everything from dim sum to spicy dishes, alongside countless shopsoverflowing with unique souvenirs. This vibrant atmosphere, rich history, and incredible food scene make it a fantastic cultural and culinary destination.

Yokohama World Porters

After our walk around Red Brick Warehouse, it was very hot and decided to stop by Yokohama World Porters for a stroll to cool off from the sun. We were glad we did as it had many shops and unique designs.

Kirin Beer Factory: A Taste of Brewing History

A 23min subway from Yokohama Station. It looked beautiful at the factory, but the only downside was that we forgot to book for the tour and there was no time slots avaliable. The worker allowed us to walk around the garden area and go to the merchant shop. If we had of booked the tour; we would of loved the trip here.

Red Brick Warehouse: Historic Charm by the Bay

Colin had picked the Red Brick Warehouse and it was a great sight to see over the waters. The Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama is a charming complex of historic buildings beautifully repurposed into a hub of shops, cafes, and restaurants. It’s a wonderfully atmospheric place to stroll, browse unique crafts, and grab a bite to eat, all with a lovely view of the bay. The architecture itself is a treat to admire.

Conclusion:

Yokohama was a day trip that was fantastic to see. We loved everything about Yokohama to the Red Brick to the great view. We highly recommend booking a tour in advance for Kirin Brewery to get to taste the fresh beer.
