Times Square

Times Square is pure magic! Its neon lights and giant billboards create such an energy, especially at night. You’ll find entertainment, street performers, and vendors selling everything from clothes to souvenirs here.

Grand Central Terminal

Grand Central Terminal is far more than just a place to catch a train. There masterpiece Architecture is absolutely stunning leaving you feeling like a dream. It’s a vibrant hub where history and modern life beautifully collide.

New York Stock Exchange

As Colin is a stock enthusiasts, we had to visit the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street.Early in the morning, the area was bustling with walking tours. The building’s pillars and architecture were truly beautiful. While many flock to the Charging Bull, we opted for distant photos to avoid the crowds.

Pier 88

Finding Pier 88 was a bit tricky from our end, as we kept seeing Piers 83 and 84 nearby. Despite the walk, it was definitely worth the visit! You get panoramic city skyline views and can see massive cruise ships docked on the Hudson River. It’s a popular spot for both locals and visitors enjoying an afternoon stroll.

High Line Over Hudson Yards Park

We absolutely loved the High Line! After walking up a few flights of stairs, we were surprised by the stunning landscape stretching above Hudson Yards. We even spotted an amusing emoji Liberty Statue art installation and a few small vendors selling refreshing drinks and ice cream.

Vessel

Its unique honeycomb-like, intertwined structure is truly a sight. Unfortunately, we couldn’t climb it during our visit, but simply admiring its impressive design.

Chelsea Market

Located near the Pier and the Google store, Chelsea Market was super crowded on the weekend, but we adored its chic vibe! It’s packed with artisanal foods, unique shops, and gourmet treats. From fresh seafood to international cuisine, there’s something delicious for every palate.

Twin Towers & World Trade Center

On Liberty Street, you’ll find powerful sites like the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and the 9/11 Memorial Pools. The Twin Towers area, with its striking white architectural crossover structure, was truly amazing to see. The entire World Trade Center complex is beautiful, showcasing impressive architecture and art installations as you explore the area.

Chinatown

New York’s Chinatown is one of the largest and oldest in the U.S., offering a truly immersive cultural experience. Its small streets are packed with authentic Asian markets, herbal shops, and fantastic restaurants.

Brooklyn Bridge

As first-timers, walking the iconic Brooklyn Bridge was a must! Google estimated an hour, but we finished in under 30 minutes. You can walk or bike across, passing multiple vendors selling souvenirs and ice cream. We also spotted many “love locks,” though they’re actually not allowed!

Time Out New York Market

After our Brooklyn Bridge walk, we headed to Time Out New York Market. The food hall showcases New York’s pizza to gourmet donuts under one roof. Just outside, you get amazing waterfront views of the Brooklyn Bridge and a carousel (which was closed during our visit).

Rockefeller Center

When we walked to Rockefeller Center, it actually felt less grand than it appears in movies. Likely, not as grand as we went during summer time. There was a film crew setting up, so we mostly just sight-seeing around the iconic area.

Central Park

Central Park was absolutely worth the walk and stroll! It’s a serene escape in Manhattan, filled with people picnicking, boating, biking, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk. It definitely evoked memories of the Friends TV show intro!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Lyric Theatre)

As huge Harry Potter fans, seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was a dream come true! The set design and performances made it a must-see for Potterheads. It’s one of Broadway’s most popular shows, and you can grab drinks, snacks, and merchandise inside.

Bryant Park

Bryant Park was an amazing place for a relaxing stroll. We loved seeing Breads Bakery there and the sheer number of locals and visitors relaxing on the grass or finding a seat. In the summer, they even have outdoor movie screenings, which is a fantastic way to enjoy the city!

Summit One Vanderbilt

Summit One Vanderbilt offers an immersive experience! Getting tickets via Klook was fast and efficient. This multi-level observatory features glass floors, mirrored walls, and interactive art installations, creating a surreal space to view the skyline. We especially loved bouncing silver helium balls around within the mirrored rooms – it was incredibly interactive and fun!
